• How much does it cost to participate in the 12 Week Wealth for my Health challenge?
Refer to the Application tab at the top of the website to learn more about Membership Options.

• How can I apply and when is the deadline?
You can apply on-line or print off a copy of the application, and scan & email or snail mail it in. All applications must be received the Monday prior to the next Challenge Launch to be considered for participation.

• Are refunds given?
There are no refunds given.

Are there any payment plans available?
There are 6 and 12 month payment plans available for certain Membership Options. Please refer to the Membership Options portion of the website for more information. A contract is required for payment plans.

• Does the content presented at meetings change each challenge?
There is new information presented at each meeting over the course of 4 challenges (one year). There may be some slight review or overlap, but for the most part a contestant can expect to learn something new at each meeting for the course of a year. At the end of the year, all presentations are updated to reflect the most current information and feedback, and the presentations are started over again.

Do I have to have a doctor’s note to participate in the challenge?
We ask that you receive verbal medical clearance from your doctor prior to participating in the challenge. This can be easily done by making a phone call to the doctor’s office and leaving a message for one of the nurses.

Can I take weight loss pills while participating in this challenge?
Our philosophy is simple: Only utilize products during the course of the challenge that you would utilize for the rest of your life. Clearly you would not take fat burners or metabolism boosters for the rest of your life, or survive on drinking shakes for every meal. Same goes for Game Play – if you are suspected of bulking up before initial measurements or dehydrating yourself before a weigh in – you will be automatically disqualified and no refunds will be given. We want contestants to learn how to fuel their bodies with fresh, clean foods. This is a LIFESTYLE change and health challenge and the purpose of this challenge is to BE HEALTHY, and those behaviors ARE NOT HEALTHY. Contestants that are found (or are suspicious of) to be utilizing unhealthy weight loss products/services/behaviors will be disqualified immediately and no rebuttals will be acknowledged and no refunds will be given.

How much weight can I expect to lose by participating in this challenge?
It has been well documented that weight that is lost at a slow and steady rate is more likely to STAY off permanently. We recommend contestants lose around 1% of their body weight each week. For a 250lb person this would mean they could expect to lose around 2.5lbs per week.

What other changes can I expect by participating in this challenge?
Contestants can expect to think more positively, have a healthier outlook on life, and be more committed to themselves and healthy living. Contestants have found this challenge to their “life line” to healthy living. It’s what keeps them on track to making healthy behaviors and keeping positive. Contestants can expect to increase their physical fitness by becoming stronger and leaner, and increasing their endurance for physical activity.

Is attendance to boot camp and the weekly meetings mandatory?
Attendance is not mandatory to meetings and bootcamps, however we have found that contestants who regularly attend the weekly Monday night meetings and their weekly group workout sessions experience greater success overall. Contestants that are absent for 4 or more weekly meetings are ineligible for any cash or prizes.

• What happens when a contestant is disqualified?
A reminder letter will be emailed to the contestant when they are one meeting away from disqualification. Once they have missed 4 or more meetings, a letter will be emailed and mailed to the contestant notifying them of their disqualification. That contestant will no longer be in the running for any cash and/or prizes and will not be allowed to participate in the special team challenges.

• What is a Team Leader?
A team leader is a former WFMH Contestant that would like to pay their positive experience forward. Team Leaders are an important source of motivation and accountability. Team Leaders are responsible for taking measurements, conveying important information, keeping attendance at bootcamps and meetings, checking in periodically with teammates, and answering any questions and addressing any concerns one may have.

• Will I be publically weighed?
Weigh ins and measurements will be done in a semi-formal setting as to make contestants feel as comfortable as possible.

• Will anyone know how much I weigh or how many actual pounds I lost?
We refer to contestant’s losses in percentages of change, not actual pounds, inches, etc. lost. In the case of the Final Three, ACTUAL starting/ending weights and pounds lost WILL be shared.

• What happens with the before/after photos that are taken at Orientation and Final Measurements?
A headshot is taken at Orientation and that photo is put on the website alongside contestants bios. The full body shots are kept on file until the Grand Finale, when the before and after photos are presented to the contestants and audience with the rest of their statistics. Contestants do have the option of taking before/after photos with their shirts off (to get a more accurate view of the changes that are made) and those photos will be kept private and confidential, and only released to the contestant.

• Can I attend other team’s boot camps?
No, we request that contestants only attend the training sessions of the trainer/team they were placed with. If a contestant wishes to switch teams permanently, they can send in a written request to the program organizer.

• Can I train with a trainer that is not part of the Wealth for my Health Challenge?
Yes. You can train with a different trainer (just as long as they aren’t another WFMH trainer), utilize a gym, participate in yoga, do kickboxing, play on a basketball team, etc. However a contestant wants to be physically fit is fine by the Wealth for my Health Challenge!

• Are there advancements or eliminations in this challenge?
There are not advancements or elimination in this challenge – everyone has a chance at winning up until the very end of the challenge!

• Since this is a CHALLENGE, what are we competing for?
Contestants are competing for their health first and foremost, but secondly, a cash grand prize. New contestants will compete against other new contestants for a $350 cash grand prize, a free month of bootcamp, and a personal makeover. Veteran contestants will compete against other veterans for a $250 cash prize and a free month of bootcamp. Winners will be determined by the highest percentage of weight lost, body fat lost, and inches around the abdomen lost.

• What is the difference between a Grand Finale and an End of the Session Celebration?
An End of the Session Celebration will take place the Monday evening following Final Measurements. This laid back affair will be open to challenge experts, sponsors, contestants and their friends and family. It will be a potluck style event and everyone will mingle and celebrate their successes. There will be a brief presentation and everyone’s achievements will be highlighted and the Wealthiest Winners will be announced and awarded their prizes.

The Grand Finale will take place annually and will be a more formal affair. More details to follow.
